Product Description |
| Prepare to burn rubber and leave the opposition sitting at the line. The Age of Muscle was ushered in when Chevrolet dropped its big 409 under the hood, and it came of age when Ronny and the Daytonas immortalized the 1964 Pontiac GTO in song. The next few years saw an amazing array of tire-smoking monsters rumble off the assembly line, including Shelby and Boss Mustangs, Chevy Camaros, Dodge Chargers and Challengers, Plymouth Road Runners and Barracudas, and the AMC AMX. The fury of racing stripes and dramatic body scoops came to a crashing halt with the oil crisis of 1974. Muscle Cars celebrates all the beloved machines of this era with authoritative and engaging text and 280 full-color photographs. |

| This book is packed full of valuable information, and lots of great photos. Absolutely mesmerizing and incredibly well-written. It covers the complete muscle car years...from 1961-1974. Over 200 pages of small blocks to big blocks. A must have for any GM, Ford, and Mopar lover...and all the in between. If you don't purchase this book...you will forever wish you had. |

| The 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee in the book that has the Superbird wing on the back is not a stock car, that makes people think that Dodge made that car in 1970. |
